2003 was a huge success for our Starz Club
as we won 4 NCAA Football crowns at BigGuy and SportsWatch combined
proving once again it's not the name or cost of plays that makes
you a winner but hard work and dedication reaps the rewards.
Jon Starz SportS Exchange was started in 1995
using 2 900 numbers. We were monitored by Las Vegas Sporting
News in 1997. We had some ups and downs that first year of
monitoring. We had 2 perfect weeks, finished with 3 top 10's
in the NFL and college combined. Our Top 40 club ended with
55% NFL winners and a 9th place finish and a number 2 finish
in NFL totals. In college we finished with 5th place in college
totals. We finished with 4 top 7 finishes in the NBA albeit
a shortened monitoring season due to some problems at LVSN.
Our Top Play Line finished 97 with 3 top ten
finishes as well. We finished number 4 in college totals,
number 6 in NFL totals and a 5th place finish in total units
won with +52. Our NBA selections finished number 1 in NBA
units, 4th in overall % and 3rd in NBA sides (remember this
was a shortened season).
In 1998 we discontinued our monitoring and
added season subscription packages through email. This direction
became a huge success as we still have over 85% of our original
subscribers. Jon Starz grew from 1998 until 2002 from word
of mouth as we only accepted referrals to our service. Our
current football resubscription rate of over 91% tells us
we have a quality service with absolutely no hassles, no gimmicks
just solid handicapping with a goal of delivering our customers
a winning season.
In 9 years of service we have shown a profit
on the Starz Club (Top 40 Club) in 8 of 9 in the NFL and 7
of 9 in college football. The All Starz Club (Top Play Line)(since
taken over by Ben (Red) Beard) has shown a profit in 6 of
8 NFL seasons and 6 of 8 college seasons. Our Starz Club has
shown a profit in 7 of 9 NBA seasons but only 5 of 9 college
seasons. In baseball the Starz club again has won 6 of 8 years
and is showing a profit this year once again.
In 2003-2004 we added Ben "Red"
Beard. His knowledge of hockey gave him top 5 finishes in
BigGuy and SportsWatch and he is now taking over the All Starz
Club and renaming it Red's Treasure Trove. Red Beard will
be monitored using Sports Watch. You won't be disappointed
with this new addition to Jon Starz.
Our second big change is our website. We have
eliminated our 900 lines and added opportunities to buy our
service through paypal. We feel as though this change will
provide safe and secure transactions through the internet.
You will be given a password to view the subscription you
purchased with no record on your phone bills. You will be
able to ask us questions and view for the first time trends,
free picks and an archive of our selections and writings.
Thank you for visiting and wanting to learn
